Rainbow Story, developed by EskyfunUSA, is a fantasy MMORPG game where players can embark on a thrilling adventure fighting against waves of monsters and enemies with their friends, allies, and pets. The game features cute anime-style graphics and fast-paced side-scrolling action combat and is now available on both Google Play and App Store. Is it worth playing? Before entering the land of Tyre and beginning your adventure, there are multiple classes you can choose from, such as Swordsman, Archer, and Mage. Each class has male and female versions and is equipped with unique power and different abilities. Swordsman, for example, features a potent defensive skill that can help the character block out the enemy's attack in the battle while Archer can deal huge damage powers to knock down monsters and enemies. Players are allowed to choose their favorite class and style their characters by changing the hairstyle, colors, and more.

Then there comes the tutorial that can help you get familiar with controls and how the game works. Move the joystick to control the character and tap the Attack button to battle against enemies. As you progress, the advanced skills will be unlocked, and each skill has a cooldown before you can perform it again. To help the beginner, the game has an auto-combat option and a manual-battle option. When you switch the game mode to Auto-combat, the battle will run automatically.

In addition to the battle part, players can also enjoy an intriguing story. However, the font of the story is too small, so I just skip the storyline and enter the battlefield directly. Rainbow Story allows you to create a team with your friends. If you don't know where to start, just join the main quest - travel to different locations of Tyre, and complete the required tasks to level up. Use rewards to equip your character, and also upgrade your skills to improve your gaming experience.

After reaching certain levels, players can unlock their own fighting pals: pets. Choose your favorite pet type and pick one as the captain. As you progress, there will be a horde of pets following behind you. It's always great to have companions during one's playing, especially they're lovely cute animals. Don't forget to use the interface and required items to upgrade your pets.

If the regular battles don't satisfy you, Rainbow Story also offers Boss Battle mode for you to challenge. There are multiple bosses, and some of them are only available after you reach the required levels. Once you defeat these evil monsters, you will gain lots of rewards like magic robes, jewels, and more to upgrade your characters and skills. You can also team up with other players to fight against the bosses.

The graphics are ok and the gameplay is quite addicting. It's free to download Rainbow Story on both Google Play and App Store. However, it contains in-app purchases that allow players to use real money to purchase resources that will help them grow quickly. App Store has rated this game as a suitable option for kids aged 9+, so if you are a parent, make sure your boys and girls are mature enough to play this game.
