Plato (427 BC - 347 BC) was an ancient Greek philosopher from Athens, the most famous student of Socrates and teacher of Aristotle. His work in the form of philosophical dialogues has saved the entire (attributed to even a few spurious works) had a huge influence on ancient Greek philosophy and more generally in the western philosophical tradition until today. Master builder of philosophy, guider or a harbinger of subsequent pre-basic, initiator directly or indirectly the most important socio-political visions. Plato, among others, wrote his Apology of Socrates, which is regarded as a relatively accurate record of apology of Socrates at the trial sentenced him to death, the Symposium where he talks about the nature of love, "Protagoras" which inter alia based theoretically the principle of "prevention" that does not take the sentence as absolutely "rewarding" Parmenides and Theaitito, which establishes the objectivity of speech and idea, and in two long dialogues, the State and the laws described his ideal state.
