Esta é a versão limitada por turnos da Operação Barbarossa, um jogo de estratégia baseado em turnos altamente cotado ambientado na Frente Oriental durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial.
Você está no comando das forças armadas alemãs da Segunda Guerra Mundial - tanques, infantaria e unidades da força aérea - e o objetivo do jogo é conquistar a União Soviética o mais rápido possível. Para ter a chance de conquistar o primeiro lugar no Hall da Fama, você precisa cercar habilmente dezenas de unidades de infantaria do Exército Vermelho com seus panzers, enquanto luta contra as temidas unidades de tanques T-34 e o notório clima russo.
