Cryptonite brings EncFS and TrueCrypt to Android. You can browse, export and open EncFS-encrypted directories and files on your Dropbox and on your phone.

About Cryptonite

Cryptonite (Package Name: csh.cryptonite) is developed by CSH and the latest version of Cryptonite 0.7.17 was updated on March 15, 2015. Cryptonite is in the category of Tools with the feature Encryption and Dropbox integration, etc. You can check all apps from the developer of Cryptonite and find 4 alternative apps to Cryptonite on Android. Currently this app is for free. This app can be downloaded on Android 4.1+ on APKPure.fo or Google Play. All APK/XAPK files on APKPure.fo are original and 100% safe with fast download.
This is a free and open-source file encryption solution based on the original EncFS code. Cryptonite is fully compatible with all EncFS features.
Mounting doesn't work on some Android 4.2 devices. We're working on a solution.
READ THIS FIRST: This application is UNDER DEVELOPMENT. Intended for EXPERIENCED ANDROID USERS ONLY. While most features don't require root, mounting EncFS volumes requires ROOT and Kernel FUSE support (found in some CyanogenMod ROMs). Downloading from, uploading to and creating EncFS volumes on your Dropbox or on your phone is supported on all devices.

@H: Don't use the rating system as your testing playground. It's highly demotivating.
OFFLINE MODE: To access an encrypted Dropbox volume when you're offline, sync the encrypted volume to a local folder with one of the many apps that provide online storage synchronization (e.g. FolderSync Lite or Dropsync). Then, mount that local volume with Cryptonite. This will only work on rooted phones that support FUSE though.

PERMISSIONS: Internet permission is required to access your Dropbox.
SD card access is required to read and write files.
