The Holy Spirit is a wonderful person, friend, guide, counselor and teacher. He was with God the Father and Jesus at Creation, and it was through His power that the commands of God the Father was manifested. God said let there be light and the Holy Spirit brought the light and all the creation into being.
The Holy Spirit was with Jesus in full measure while He was on this earth. He guided Jesus under God the Fathers direction in His every day life. It was through the power of the Holy Spirit and the strong desire and determination and love of Jesus that He did not sin while on earth. Jesus hated sin!
We, as Christians need to learn about the Holy Spirit and let him move with power in our lives. He will bring us joy as we never knew it before. The Holy Spirit lives in us and when we come to him and ask him he will teach us about God and Jesus and himself. The Holy Spirit has a personality and will not force anything on us, but as we open ourselves up to him he will teach us so we can get to know God and what his will for us is. We learn the will of God by reading his word, the Bible.
