JT2Go Web è sviluppato da Siemens Digital Industries Software per la visualizzazione di file JT 3D su piattaforme mobili. Consente agli utenti di navigare e interrogare modelli 3D JT ingegneristici o architettonici utilizzando moderne tecniche di interfaccia applicativa. JT2Go Mobile definisce un nuovo paradigma per la visualizzazione e la manipolazione di file JT 3D su dispositivi touch screen palmari. I file 3D JT possono essere generati praticamente da tutti i principali strumenti CAD/CAM/CAE oggi disponibili nell'industria. Il formato JT è stato definito da Siemens Digital Industry Software. Gli utenti dei dati JT possono condividere esperienze aderendo al JT Open Program, un gruppo industriale formato da Siemens per supportare ed estendere l'utilizzo di JT da parte dell'industria. La specifica del formato di file JT è stata adottata da ISO come standard internazionale nel 2012 ed è disponibile da ISO come IS 14306:2012. La specifica del formato file JT è pubblicata gratuitamente da Siemens PLM ed è disponibile su www.jtopen.com.
Le caratteristiche standard includono:
- Zoom, Panoramica, Ruota. Visualizzazione delle PMI, inclusa la vista modello con funzionalità di filtro
- Funzioni di markup e sezione trasversale basate sulla sessione
- Rivedere la struttura dell'assieme e le proprietà delle parti
- Funzione di sfondo della fotocamera dal vivo.
- Include cinque file JT di esempio di assiemi con PMI
Nota: i file JT di dimensioni superiori a 20 Mgb influiranno sulle prestazioni.
