Craft Legend: Epic Adventure Review – Explore Dungeons in This Idle Gacha RPG

IGG, the developer of Lords Mobile, released its new idle gacha game Craft Legend: Epic Adventure on mobile. This game combines battle, adventure, puzzle and all sorts of elements to make sure players get entertained. You will explore a large dungeon and defeat enemies of different levels to get various kinds of rewards and unlock more features while you leveling up.

Explore the dungeon to earn more rewards

In Craft Legend: Epic Adventure you are going to take adventure in a massive underworld filled with treasures and danger. While exploring every corner of the dungeon, you will encounter enemies of different levels. Defeating enemies will grant you a bunch of coins, gems and resource to help you level up and buy more equipment.

There is a map at the right up corner of the screen to help you locate your place. What is great is that you can tap on any teleport spot on the map to teleport your character to anywhere in the dungeon directly. This is quite useful when you try to get close to the targeted enemies on your quest.

Besides fighting against the enemies and collecting resources, you will find some structures with special abilities to provide you with extra bonus.

• The tower: Help to train your abilities. Once you defeat the powerful phantoms within the tower, you can have a chance to pick a Talent.
• Ancient ruins: Increase your heroes’ attack and defense attributes after you win the battle.
• Mercenary Camp: You can get any of three heroes within the camp.
• Statue: Allow you to pick one Blessing that can be used in Stages.

And there are several interesting puzzles hiding in the dungeon to give you excellent loot after you solve them.

Recruit and upgrade your heroes

You can recruit heroes with recruit tickets or gems in the hero gacha. Usually when I recruit *5 heroes, most of the characters I get are the ones that I already owned. But it is not frustrating for me as I can upgrade the hero star levels to improve their stats using the same character gacha. And there is a high rate to pull SSR heroes, so overall the gacha system is generous enough for me to proceed to higher levels.

Heroes in Craft Legend: Epic Adventure are divided into four classes: Ranged, Mage, Warrior and Assassin, and each with their own special skills. When you put these heroes into the battle, you need to consider its Might, skill and weakness to put them in the right position so they can bring out the most damage. For example, Mages are usually weak in defense, so you’d better put them in the back of your formation. If you can take use of your heroes’ advantages and disadvantages, you may win the battle even if your team’s Might are less than the enemies’.

When you get new heroes, you can activate the character in the Hero Illustration where contains the albums of all heroes in Craft Legend: Epic Adventure. After you upgrade your heroes' star levels, you can also upgrade their album star level here to improve stats of all heroes.

Besides upgrading your heroes’ stats, you can also craft equipment and weapons to help them level up and increase their Might. Crafting requires wood and other material that you can collect in the dungeon, so make sure you don’t miss these useful material while exploring the world.

Use strategy to win more combats

Unlike many other idle games, Craft Legend: Epic Adventure doesn’t automatically form the team members for you. So you need to know about your heroes well enough to make sure they can unleash the strongest power in the battle. I have lost battles but won it afterwards after I switched my heroes’ positions instead of replacing them with other heroes, so strategy is the key to defeat your enemies especially when your Might are very close.

If you are tired of exploring the dungeon, you can go to Challenge and complete the stages to get more loot. You can also join the guild with players around the world. Each guild contains 30 players, so you can apply to join them if they still have space for new players.

Conclusion

Craft Legend: Epic Adventure features great graphics and simple controls, the heroes are well designed as well. And the gameplay is very easy to grasp as it is idle but you still need to use strategy to build the strongest team to defeat the enemies successfully. You are able to customize your profile with different portraits and frames. But as an idle RPG, it doesn’t have new elements or innovation so you might feel bored if you have played many games of these types.
