Idle Goddess-Best Idle RPG was released last week on Android featuring the classic idle RPG gameplay. I downloaded immediately to see whether it is another classic copy of RPG game or a brand new version that worth playing.

Adorable Japanese Art Style

The first impression of Idle Goddess-Best Idle RPG is its cute Japanese cartoon art designs. The graphics of characters, battleground, menus and skill effects are all in colorful and vivid style. The tutorial is very clear and not too lengthy to waste too much time in the beginning.

You can customize your profile with different avatar, images and frames, etc. But some of the elements require reaching to certain levels to unlock.

Collect 300+ Heroes with Different Attributes

There are over 300 heroes in Idle Goddess with different attributes. You can use tickets to summon 5-star heroes for free in the start of the game. In each round of battles, you can deploy your heroes with multiple attributes so they can unleash the strongest attach and recover the highest HP during fights.

You can get hero shards as a reward in the daily login event or after you finish certain levels or stages. Once the shards are completed, you can combine them to get the heroes.

Your heroes will be stronger when you rank them up or equip them with various gears. In the Mystery Shop you can also upgrade the gear to improve its abilities and help your heroes increase damage and recover HP more efficiently during battles.

Fast-Paced Battles with Simple Operations

Idle Goddess doesn’t have manual fight option in the battle, so it is totally auto-fight style to set your hands free. For players who like to play for themselves and look for skills and strategy in the matches, you can pass it now. But for players that cannot handle fight skills very well, or those who just want to relax and have fun in the casual gameplay, this is a nice choice. When you are in the battle, you can reach out to other places like to Hero list or the lobby and the battle will still continue in the background automatically.

If you want to speed up the pace of the battles, you can use the Quick Battle feature to get multiple rewards and level up right away. Other than that, there are Guild, Arena and Tower of Phantom that you can join in to gain more loot and boost your heroes’ stats.

You will be given coins, gear, treasure and other items once you reach higher levels or play enough rounds of Arena, Guild or Tower of Phantom.

Everything Needs Money

I hit the level walls way too quickly than I expected. Although the game offers plenty of rewards at the beginning, I still need to pay to get stronger and pass the floors in the Tower of Phantom or win the Arena battles. Without payment, I have to farm very slowly to upgrade my equipment and heroes for many hours, which really used up my patience.

Conclusion

As a free-to-play idle RPG, Idle Goddess-Best Idle RPG offers a bunch of loot and rewards everyday at the beginning, but it requires too much payment after you hit the level walls. If you are a p2w player, you may like this game as it is quite easily to get addictive if you can level up quickly. But for players who want to show and improve their battle skills in the fights, you might find it hard to proceed and give it up eventually.
