Mitrasphere is a cooperative MMORPG made by Crunchyroll Games that initially launched in Japan in 2017 with over seven million installs. Now this game is coming to the West for select countries including United States, Canada, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Norway, and Sweden. Graphics & Gameplay
Mitrasphere presents a very touching storyline set in a place where there are two worlds exist, straddling the ocean sky from below and above. The art design is not top-notch but still looks unique. As the game features real time co-op gameplay, you can adventure through the world with up to five other players across the globe. Choose your teammates with high power will help you a lot in defeating enemies and collecting legendary weapons.
In the game, each player can have their own private room where they can chat with online friends freely without others bothering and take on quests to fight against enemies with the same teammates. If you don’t like socializing with others, you can also disable coop feature and play solo.
Customize your character with different appearance and gear
Mitrasphere allows players to change the avatar’s hairstyle, skin color, makeup and voices as they like. Moreover, you can switch your character between five classes among Swordsman, Guardian, Cleric, Archer and Mage freely. The armor and equipment will also change according to the class you choose. And there is an auto-equip feature to let the system automatically matching the most suitable gear for you so you won’t get lost in the gear list.
You can check all the gear and upgrade them in Upgrade menu. Upgrading equipment costs certain amounts of Seed. Once the skill level of the equipment is upgraded, its stats will increase accordingly.
The gacha system has pretty good rates for gear and armor of high tiers, and the game offers resources quite generously, so there is no need to spend money in the game actually.
Complete quests and events to earn multiple rewards
You can take on quest in Zone to gain EXP and level up. There are two game modes in the Zone, World and Event. In World you need to defeat enemies in each chapter to unlock the next one and explore the next Zone. And you will be able to unlock Hard mode once you completed the Normal mode.
Event quests are much more difficult to complete as the enemies are in higher levels, and you cannot take on these quests if you don’t meet the minimum level requirement. But clearing event quests will grant you better rewards than in the World quests, so try to level yourself up so you can have chance to win more prizes.
Conclusion
Overall, Mitrasphere is a fun JRPG with no stamina system. The gacha has pretty good rates and the game grant fair rewards when complete quests and missions. But the game becomes very laggy if your network is not strong enough, which forces players to continuously restart the game. Hope developers can improve its server to fix this issue for better gaming experience soon.
