О Stagefright Detector
ESET Stagefright Detector is a FREE application designed to detect potential Stagefright and Stagefright 2.0 vulnerability in your device. However it does not remove or fix the vulnerability.

ABOUT STAGEFRIGHT
The recently disclosed Stagefright vulnerability allows an attacker to remotely execute an arbitrary code and read most of your phones data simply by sending a specific MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) or by forging such a multimedia file using a compromised website. The malicious code can run unnoticed even without opening a malicious MMS.
GOOD ADVICE
• Ensure that automatic updates are enabled on your Android device
• Block MMS from unknown senders
• Disable automatic MMS retrieval in the Messaging setup
• Use a browser that is not vulnerable to Stagefright (for example, Firefox 38+)
