About VirtualHere USB Client
When you plug a USB device into a VirtualHere USB Server, it will appear in a list of devices available for use. Click on the device and it will then be connected and can be used like normal, just as if it was directly attached! The USB signals are sent over the network, rather than the USB cable. (USB over IP)
Prerequisites:
---------------------
1. You need Root
2. You need to have usbip drivers available either as a loadable module or compiled into the kernel (i.e compiled from Android source)
You can only connect to purchased VirtualHere USB Servers.
If your device fulfils these prerequisites, please download and give this app a try.
Also, if you installed Android via the x86 ISO (e.g on vmware) you should be able to directly install and run this app immediately as all prerequisites are provided in that installation.
The first screenshot shows the VirtualHere client running in x86 Android showing the VirtualHere USB Servers currently on the network, with the "STORE N GO" USB disk in use by the client.
The second screenshot shows Android FileManager with the Remotely attached "STORE N GO" disk appearing as if its a directly connected USB device, and it can be used like normal, e.g load/edit/run files on the remote usb disk.
